The Southeast Regional High School Science Bowl is a fast-paced question and answer contest in which students answer questions about earth science, physical science, life science, general science and math.

Each of the top eight teams will be invited to participate in a hydrogen fuel cell workshop on April 7, where they will receive a fuel cell car kit.  The kit will be used by teams to design and build vehicles to compete in future events, such as the Hydrogen Sprint at the Energywhiz Olympics, at FSEC May 12, 2007.

C. Leon King High School, Hillsborough County
Doral Academy Charter High School, Miami Dade (two teams)
Durant High School, Hillsborough County
Eau Gallie High School, Brevard County
Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa County
Hillsborough High School, Hillsborough County
Miami Palmetto Senior High School, Dade County (two teams)
Palm Bay High School, Brevard County
South Plantation High School, Broward County

A program of the U. S. Department of Energy Office of Science, the Science Bowl encourages student involvement in mathematics and science activities, improves awareness of alternative fuel technologies, and provides an avenue of enrichment and reward for academic science achievement.
